Several years ago, I was able to "go deeper" with a subject matter that had been scratching the surface in my life by attending one of the "Let's Talk About It" sessions. My expectation was that we would gather, have a thoughtful conversation and that would be all. What I really got was so much more. There was a circle of women with shared experiences who were able to pour out wisdom and healing. There are no right or wrong answers when dealing with personal loss or trauma however I felt that everyone in that room who had a shared experience somehow contributed to a pathway of healing by being open and honest about their own lives and journeys. The charge to "go deeper" created a safe haven and a bond and we walked away feeling renewed, rejuvenated and ready to tackle what came next. I look forward to attending a new Let's Talk About session because it allowed me to see other perspectives and learn from their experiences.
